这道题中的主语之所以没有作为A,是因为综合总结了所有真题后,笔者发现在有表语从句或宾语从句的句子中,考点往往在从句中而不是在主句里。
这样的方法通俗一点讲有点像“抽筋剥皮”,把精华的东西从一句句子里剥离出来,这个过程,在解题中尤其有好处。接下来,我们就用这个方法来区分“非”和“无”。一般来讲,就算是接触过是非无判断题很长时间的考生,因为在国内的阅读中并没有“无”这个选项,因此,在“非”和“无”之间的决断都会变得异常艰难。那么,什么是“非”呢?就是原文中也能找到A、B、C和题目中对应的部分,但是其中的1-2处为相悖,或否定的关系。如:
题目: The activity of predators, such as lions causes extinction of other animals.

原文: It is widely believed tat because cats prey on native birds they could bring about their extermination. But predation seldom leads to extinction in such a simplistic way. If it did there would be no animals left in Africa, as those big cat called Lions would have eaten them all up.
可以看出,原文的答案出处的这句句子还是很长的。对于基础不好(其实基础好的考生也一样适用)的考生来说,即使定位定到了这里,也可能会因为种种原因而得不到分数。那么我们再来看看,原文中和题目中的ABC对应的地方在哪里。

我们会发现,通过找出对应的ABC部分,我们把一句很长的句子缩减成了只剩余那些对我们解题有利的部分,把那些和解题无关的信息全部剔除了。再进行解题,我们不用通过中译英也知道原文中的C和题目中的C由于一个seldom而形成了相悖的关系。多简单!其实这道题就在考我们初中就已经掌握的否定词“seldom”!
